The Cust Domain is one of several protected areas of parks and reserves within Waimakariri. It is currently undergoing significant redevelopment due to damage.
2 years ago the domain was bordered on all sides by blocks of trees (mostly pines). This made for a lovely stroll with a family and many areas to explore for young children (or Cachers). Following extensive damage due to high winds the decision was made to remove and look at options for redeveloping and revitalising the area.
The community and council are continuing to develop ideas and return the domain to a pride of place in the community. That being said it is still a lovely place to visit.
The cache container is painted camo by Crood Kids. It contains a logbook and pencil and various small swag toys./TB.
