To Wanda on Route 66 Traditional Cache

This geocache is located in a park that runs along historic Route 66. There is off-road parking available so geocachers will be safe. The park has a lake, pavilion and can act as a trailhead for those hiking or biking along old Route 66. Although it is a very nice setting, the park is seldom used by locals. Recent clearing of dead ash trees has opened much of the area near the cache. This cache was placed with permission from the Towanda Board of Trustees.

The site is located between the old (Route 66) and the new (Interstate 55). It is an easy walk from the parking area to the cache. The container is small size wrapped in camo tape.
