Ghost pit or Guizaikeng (鬼仔坑) is now called Guizikeng (貴子坑). It is one of the oldest earth formation in the Great Taipei Area. It was the deposit of volcanic lava erupted from 2.8 million years to 800 thousand years ago. This area is now a geological reserve and it has one of the best public camping ground in Taiwan. On the bridge next to the gz, you can see most of the Taipei basin outside the valley. If you are lucky, you should be able to see Taipei 101 on the left at the far end .
