Johnny B Starts With Me Traditional Cache

This regular size cache is hidden in a pleasant bushland reserve in the New South Wales suburb of Lane Cove West.

There is room in the cache for small swaps, travel bugs etc.

The closest parking is near the children's play equipment on Penrose Street. If you approach the cache from the direction of Penrose Street its quite easy to access. Hiking up through the bush from the sports fields will be more difficult.

There are a number of paths that pass through this reserve and take you down to Blackman Park and the picturesque Lane Cove River.

The cache is located a few metres from one of the paths. Please be careful of the vertical drops, especially with kids.

Blackman Park has some sports fields (including a synthetic pitch), childrens playground, a table tennis table and picnic areas.

The land in this area was previously owned by John Blackman and was once a landfill site.

Look up high in the trees around ground zero to see some really impressive termite nests.
