This cache is part of the Strolling Stark GeoTour, taking cachers across Stark County, Ohio, to national attractions, quaint villages and towns, and other unique local spots with parks and trails surrounding them. Located in Nimishillen Township, Molly Stark Park was purchased in April 2009 by the Stark County Park District.  Stark Parks and a Nimishillen Twp. citizens and business owners group will work to develop this former hospital site into a park.  Picnic areas with tables, hiking trails, and open areas will be featured throughout the 35 acre park. 

A master plan for the park will be developed in the future after funding is sought for the removal of the abestos in the hospital buildings.  Memories, stories, and images of the former hospital site are welcome.  Please call 330.477.3552.

The Stark County Park District prohibits the use of motorized vehicles in this park and on its trails.  Sections of trail may not be suitable for wheelchair access.  Weather may impact the accessibility of trails, always use caution.
