Levedale Mission Church
A small Anglican Mission church dating from the last half of the 19th century. In the 19th century missions were established at Whiston (1880) and Levedale (c. 1881) and in the former oratory chapel at Pillaton Hall (1888). The mission church at Levedale stands on the east side of the road and is a small weather-boarded building with leaded windows.
Church Micro Series
I have enjoyed a number of caches in this series in other parts of the country and there are still relatively few in Staffordshire. Hopefully the caches that we place will encourage other Staffordshire-based CO's to contribute to the world's largest series. If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
