Just wanted to take everyone on a tour of the Port Tampa area and highlight some of our neighborhood's best or historic places. Stop #1 is Picnic Island. Used by Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders for a training and bivouac area. Now it is a fantastic recreational area with fishing, beaches, frisbee golf, dog park and a few other things.
