Geocache Description:

A Hike in Deer Lakes (AHinDL) is just what the name implies.  This is a series ouf caches that I have placed pretty much following the Orange, White, and Purple hiking trails at Deer Lakes park.  All the caches will be within 100 feet of the main trails. There should be very little bushwhacking involved. Just watch your step as there are some pretty serious wash outs along a few of the trails, that are hidden in taller grasses.

First of congratulations for making it through all 27 previous caches.  It doesn't matter if you did them in one day, multple days, or just jumping here and there to pick up finds, you made it this far.  Continue on the White Trial until you emerge from the woods and the fishing ponds are right in front of you. Continue on the trail and walk on the opposite side of the parking lot for the paved walk way that goes around the ponds.  The trail will abruptly end, but the cache you are seeking is well before that end.  You will need to put all your skills into find this one.  You need to make sure that no one on the other side is watching you, so your stealth skills are needed.  Your keen eye will need to help you in searching for this one as its a rather small black container that you will be looking for.  Your patience will probably be fried when trying to come up with it.  You will probably be muttering and swearing my name under your breathe.  You just want to get your 28th and final find on this series, thats all you want.  Once you have found this container, use your own pen or pencil to sign the log.  Place the container back where you found it and give yourself a pat on the back.  You made it!

Please note that Deer Lakes is only open from 8 AM to Dusk, year round. This means there is no night caching in the park. Please abide by this so there are no problems.
