State Game Lands 285 has some nice relaxing areas to walk/hike. There are numerous places to park throughout. Since this is a state game lands there is hunting at times throughout the year and you will see vehicles around. Otherwise this area is very quiet and you can literally walk down the road with little worries.
Please make sure to wear Orange during hunting season. Currently there is no hunting on Sunday's in Pennsylvania.
The North Country trail also runs through the area.
