Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates will bring you to Lincoln Spring within the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial. Back in Abe’s day, Lincoln Spring provided all the water Abe and his family used for drinking, bathing, farming, and lubricating the slip ‘n slide each summer. Legend has it that Abe once saved a boy named ‘Little Timmy’ when alerted by a sheep that he had fallen into the spring. I encourage you to visit the spring to enjoy its historical significance, but unfortunately the cache is not there.

Once you get to the spring, you could climb inside to search the bottom of the spring for an ancient inscription made by Young Abe that reveals the location of the final cache. But you'd probably have to climb .528 more North and then back down .009 less West to find said inscription. Alternatively, just solve the puzzle below to learn the coordinates of the final location, which is outside the national park. In fact, the location of the final is a spot where Young Abe was known to wait while trying to hitch a ride to Dale whenever his family needed something from the Dollar General. Be safe and have fun. Enjoy the history of the area!
