The pleasant walk from the cache location to Wat Palaat is popular especially early mornings and should only take about 1hr return. You’ll find beautiful trees, scenic views over Chiang Mai valley, cooling waterfalls and a lovely forest temple along this trail which continues on to Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep and the summit of Doi Pui (1,685 m)
