Geocache Description:

original single lane bridge

this old bridge used to be the only way to cross the genoa river

single lane wooden construction has been known to burn down during major bushfires

now a walking bridge between genoa and the caravan park

offers some picturesque views and is well worth the stroll to stretch the legs on a long haul

theres no petrol in genoa the nearest fuel is 24kms away in mallacoota

check out the information boards and read up about some of the history of the area yo may be quite surprised

also photos of old Genoa located in the front bar of Genoa hotel during its open hours so it is recommended to pop in have a coffee, or a spot of lunch or dinner and have a sneaky look around also the Genoa school museum (cache pending permission)
