This is a new cache but for a second appearance in the series. The Pirates or Bristol Rovers were formed in 1883. They play at the Memorial Ground near Bristol. More than players they have had some big names manage them. they are currently playing in League two after regaining league status last season.
Bobby Gould, Martin Dobson, Gerry Francis, Russell Osman, Terry Cooper and Malcolm Allison.
My mistake the memorial ground is in Bristol not near it. Sorry for any annoyance caused, I always take on board any corrections from fans of the clubs in the series.
