Aliens - Doctor in the House Traditional Cache

Note: avoid containers nearby at ground level which may contain rat bait. NO need to climb down any cliffs - this can be reached from the road edge!

This is a good themed cache for children and their families. It was hidden during Alderney Week 2015. The Alderney Week 2015 theme was Cowboys and Aliens, although my "Cowboys" cache sadly disappeared. Bring goodies to trade!

A long, long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away, aliens landed on the sleepy cowboy-populated island of Alderney.

Both parties were very keen on geocaching, and rather than have a battle each side decided to plant their own hidden treasure on the island to discover who was superior.

This is the Aliens’ effort, hidden in an area where they would frequently visit to observe the planet below, taking notes on the flora and fauna. A good view of the beach is visible from up here, and the rocks and plants reminded the more nostalgic aliens of their home planet.

The alien tasked with hiding the cache recalled a meeting his spaceship once had with a mysterious traveller known only as “the Doctor”. The shape of this Doctor’s spacecraft had always fascinated the alien and he decided to create a cache in its image.
