This is the starting point of a walk around the countryside to the east of Great Chart going out to the hamlet of Daniel's Water and back again. On three preparatory trial walks I measured the distance on my GPS to be a shade over four miles, and each time it took me about two hours to walk round. There are nineteen caches on the way, and a bonus which shouldn't present too much of a problem
The walk is mostly on footpaths but there are two stretches on country lanes. Some drivers do fly along these lanes; do take care.
Some cache owners delight in the trickier hides. this cache series is NOT supposed to be difficult. If you can't find any of the caches within a few minutes then it has probably been muggled.
The simplicity of the finds is reflected in the D1.5 rating for all of the caches; the T2.5 rating of each cache assumes they are done as a series. Each cache description is deliberately very basic; listing only the route from the previous cache and a little snippet of local information (of dubious veracity) which you may need if you are going to look for the Seleberhtes Cert bonus cache which can be found here
On the trial runs whilst preparing this walk I took my small dog with me. The walk was dog friendly
However because of the gates, stiles and quite boggy terrain I would seriously not recommend this series to be done at night, or with buggies or bikes
You should have no problem finding this cache
