Geocache Description:

Statue of St John the Evangelist and the Eagle #1 erected in 2007 to commemorate 25 years since the opening of the current church.

The 1996 film The Van, part of Roddy Doyle's Barrytown trilogy, was filmed in Kilbarrack including a real pub called The Foxhound Inn where the title "character" was parked.

Please replace carefully as during certain times of the day the area can be busy. BYOP.
