Many, many years ago there were a couple girls who broke curfew and were hanging out the park. The girls were sitting on picnic tables talking and laughing, thinking they were so cool to have snuck out of the house unnoticed and breaking curfew in town. NOT SO COOL when the cops come driving up! SCARED TO DEATH off they run....hiding under bleachers, waiting for the right moment to run again. That moment came and off they ran. Problem is in the dark you can't see, and forget about where that barrbed wire fence is and slam right into it. OUCH 
....got through the fence and into the corn field without the cops finding them, and made it home without being caught by the parents. But, there was quite a bloody mess, and a scar that will never let the girls forget the night they thought they were cool.
The area can be busy so use stealth especially during baseball season. It may be difficult to find in snow as well.
