New York Admin: This cache should have been permitted years ago and I thank the park manager has been very generous and patient in waiting for the cache owner to apply for a geocaching permit. I am archiving this cache today for lack of proper maintenance. Yes, obtaining a permit as required by the land manager is as much a part of cache maintenance as replacing a wet logbook.
If the cache owner applies for and obtains the proper permit from the park office AND if DPT confirms the permit number to me I'll be glad to unarchive the cache providing it fits within the current guidelines.
