Geocache Description:

A series of caches in the Benburb Valley park, a small gorge along the Blackwater river. The myriad of paths can be mucky at times appropiate footwear needed. The caches were placed in the autumn when leaf coverage was minimal. All caches placed using Garmin Dakota Waypoint averaging.

Along the way you will see NFC marker posts (hold your mobile phone close to receive the information) and orienteering posts.

These caches have been placed in association with Brilliant trails.

Recommended parking at Maydown Bridge (waypoint given) then walk over the said bridge to the trail start waypoint also given.

The cache is a large drill bit box, placed at head height in the tree near the pointless gate. You might find the additional waypoint handy, it's a small bridge to cross the ditch.
