Geocache Description:

This cache is in honor of, and as a thank you to, our friends Morgan and Anne, British geocachers living in Luxembourg, who introduced us to Geocaching in 2012.  Formed by the bucolic hills of Belmont, NH and the railroad levy on the shore of Lake Winnisquam, Libby's Lake is a peaceful, scenic spot that is largely unknown.  The railroad runs by to the West, and otherwise it is surrounded by wilderness.  A beautiful place that I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

This cache is a short hike from the nearest parking.  You can either park at the Belknap Mall and bushwhack to it, or take the much easier railroad from either the park opposite the Laconia Bypass to the North, or on street parking near Mosquito Bridge to the South.

Walking along the levy you will come to Libby's Lake to the East.  Water glistens with sunshine, as lily pads float in expectation of dragonflies and frog visitors.  A giant boulder graces the far shore.  Take a few moments to sit and enjoy the peace of this beautifully unspoiled area.

This cache is not wheelchair accessible, nor is it winter friendly, but it is kid and pet friendly.  Please replace the cache exactly where you found it.  Happy Hunting!

Congratulations to Yogi1940 ftf!!
