This cache is the second in my Weary Travelers series, the first being Weary Traveler GC63VKG, so that one might use the chance to stop for awhile. Even a few minutes would help to stretch the legs and get the blood ciculating again. I have started this cache with 2 Trackables and somethings that might be handy for the road warrior.
In The Weary Traveler 1 I spoke of staying up all night with my dad charging through the darkness. I have sinced recieved many messages as to why no one else would drive so my dad could take a well deserved rest. With this cache I will finally tell the story.
My mother kept asking to drive while on a trip to New York, relenting because of road weariness and not wanting to lose time on the road, my dad agreed to let mom drive. He pulled off the road and promptly took the second seat to lay down for a well desrved reset. Now the speed limit was set to a national 55 M.P.H. on all freeways. With my mother at the helm she exclaimed " That guy must be doing a hundred miles an hour". My dad in the seat behind her was lying down trying to catch 40 winks and asked "How would you know" My mother matter of fact responded "Because I am doing 90" My father sprang up from his resting place and instructed my mother to pull off the road NOW!!!
To this day decades later my mom has never driving on another family vacation. This cache is large enough for a few trackables although please remember to log them in and out so the owners know where they are.
