Il percorso
Questa cache fa parte di una serie dislocate lungo il sentiero che porta da Pian delle Fugazze (1163m) al Monte Cornetto (1899m). Il tracciato, assai frequentato nel periodo estivo-autunnale è una delle numerose alternative escursionistiche che offre la suggestiva dorsale del Sengio Alto e consente di visitare una delle sue più celebri cime: il Monte Cornetto. Il percorso non presenta particolari difficoltà, è ben tracciato ed è adatto anche a famiglie con bambini abituati a camminare in montagna.
La partenza è dal parcheggio a Pian delle Fugazze, a pagamento durante il periodo estivo (WP1). Si imbocca la strada asfaltata che porta a Campogrosso abbandonandola quasi subito per prendere a sinistra il sentiero (E5) che attraversa salendo alcuni prati prima di immergersi nel bosco (qui si trova la prima cache). Il sentiero prosegue a tornanti in mezzo al bosco fino a raggiungere una selletta dove si trova un segnavia (in questo punto è nascosta la seconda cache). Da qui si prosegue deviando a sinistra verso la sommità del Monte Cornetto (sentiero 175). Dopo circa 45 minuti di cammino tra pini Mughi si arriva alla croce del Monte Cornetto, dove è nascosta la terza Cache.
Per il ritorno una volta scesi fino alla forcella è possibile girare a sinistra e scendere a Pian delle Fugazze dal lato opposto passando per la piana di Malga Boffetal, dove è nascosta un'altra cache. Buon divertimento e... buona caccia!
The path
This cache is part of a series located along the path that leads from Pian delle Fugazze (1163m) to Monte Cornetto (1899m). This way, very popular in summer or autumn is one of the many hiking alternatives offered by the beautifull ridge of Sengio Alto and allows you to visit one of his most famous peaks: Mount Cornetto.
The path is not particularly difficult, is well track and is suitable also for families with children used to walking in the mountains. Departure is from the car park at Pian delle Fugazze, for a fee during the summer (WP1). Take the paved road that leads to Campogrosso and abandone it almost immediately to take the left path (E5). The way cross climbing some lawns before going into the forest (here the first cache). The path continues winding through the woods until you reach a saddle where there is a signpost (at this point is the second hidden cache). From here continue to the left towards the summit of Mount Cornetto (route 175). After about 45 minutes walking through pines Mughi you get the Cross of Monte Cornetto, where the third cache is hidden. To return once stepped up to the fork you can turn left and descend to Pian delle Fugazze from the opposite side through the plain of Malga Boffetal, where is another hidden cache.
