It was exhibitied on the lawn of the Serpentine Gallery for 2 months in 1981 before it was moved to sit on the banks of Singleton Lake in Ashford. Sadly due to extensive vandalism it was removed in 2010 and underwent major refurbishment by specialist in Telford, Shropshire.
It was winched into its new home in August 2013 causing delays on the local roads.
It is composed of an eight-tonne water-hewn granite from Scotland and a bronze and concrete replica.
