YUMA…the GATEWAY of the GREAT SOUTHWEST!

Join us at the above coordinates (Joe Henry Park) to hang with fellow geocachers, trade hints n secrets and get together with old friends from near and far on this Mega Event weekend. We will have drinks and snacks for everyone to enjoy in the shade and a children’s cache on site.

START TIME: 9am, Saturday, January 30, 2016

END TIME: 4pm, Saturday, January 30, 2016

The theme this year, The Gateway of the Great Southwest, is on the welcome gate to Old Town Yuma. We’re inviting you to enter our gateway by grabbing at least five (5) caches and finding answers to fifteen interesting and historical items in Yuma and the surrounding area on this year’s passport. After enjoying snacks, drinks and fellowship, the passports will be available.

A limited edition (250) trackable coins are available for those completing the series correctly.

*On Sunday, January 31, 2016, we have permission to set-up a table at the Yuma Mega Event (GC5PG4A) to give any remaining coins to those completing the series after the Saturday ‘end time’.

*Following the Yuma Mega Event weekend, any coins and passports leftover will be available at the Yuma Visitor’s Center between the hours of 9am and 5pm seven days a week.
