Global Geocache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

junglehair: Looks like my first cache hide has gone missing. The ammo can lasted for more than 10 years in this small urban park. It's had a good run, but it's time now to archive the listing. Thanks to The Cameron Clan for adopting this cache and maintaining it after I moved away from Rochester.

Geocache Description:

An easy hike through a small park. Good place to walk the dog.

This was the first cache I have hidden. It should be fairly easy to find - good for the whole family, including the dog. The coordinates were averaged using my Garmin eTrex Legend.

The cache is an ammo box. I have included some unique items from around the world. Original contents of the cache included:

  • Log Book with Pen and Pencil
  • Camera to take a picture of your group
  • Sand from the Sahara Desert (3 bottles)
  • Set of coins from Iceland (3)
  • Eraser from London
  • Pin from Sydney, Australia
  • Liver Treats for the first dog that helps find the cache
  • Hawaii key chain retrieved from Creepy Cache in Nevada
  • Geocache Money Pot that was retrieved from Graveyard Grumble in Rochester
  • Rochester History CD from the Seth Green Cache in Rochester
  • Miscellaneous coins (mostly Great Britain, Canada and Iceland)
  • Assorted toys

Good luck, and happy geocaching!
