The cache is hidden a short distance from the entrance to the old Bangour Village Hospital and North Wood.
Bangour Village Hospital was a psychiatric hospital opened in Oct 1906, and eventually closed in 2004 when services were transferred to the newly build St John's hospital in Livingston. If you've ever watched "The Jacket", it was filmed here. If you're feeling energetic, take a walk around the site - it is popular with urban explorers and ghost hunters, but do go in the daylight as security discourage people walking around in the dark. Do NOT go inside any of the buildings, they are dangerous.
The cache contains a log book, but you will need to bring your own pen. There is no room for swaps or travel bugs.
