Carries war is a much read and loved book, but back in 2004 they brought it to the screen. The majority of the film was filmed right here in llandeilo, and if you know the area and watch the film you will recognise many of the areas they have used. One such area was this, the building on the cornor just over from the cache is what was used as Mr Evans shop, and the place that carrie and her brother were evacuated too during ww2. The film stars many british actors and is definitely worth a watch if you havent seen it already.
