We've all had our fair share of Micros and they sure do come in handy on cold days when you just have to get out to make a find. Helps the numbers too when your on a trip. But sometimes you just have to head out a little farther & make a hike out of it. This relatively new Forest Preserve has a shape of a duck decoy if you look at it in Google Earth.
Take caution on your hike. There are tractor ruts that can make it a little rough at times. But on the other side of it, you'll get to see deer tracks, horse tracks (I assume from Mr. Ranger or a local farmer) and the new human tracks which should be the only thing we leave behind. Enjoy the hunt and please place back the same or better for the next cacher.
