Rio Torto is a fun canyon with medium abseils(about 20m averege), some jumps and slides. Geocache is located next to one of most spectacular waterslides in the region-30m in total. I would suggest just trying the lower bit.
Equipment:
-2x 30m of rope
-drilling set and slingrope(in case of missing bolts)
-neoprene(min 5mm)
-good shoes
-helmet
-harness
-abseil device
Technique:
-when abseiling into waterfall I suggest combination of Top-rope technique with abseiling on single rope. Just in case you get into any kind of trouble going down. What kind of trouble? This guy knows(play it to 1min).
Aditional Information about the canyon Rio Torto.
Considering VERY BAD GPS RECEPTION in the canyon, you have to rely on given description and spoiler photos: GC point is located on the first rock ledge, orographic LEFT side after you abseil from anchor point on orographic RIGHT side. It's right next to 30m natural waterslide. Location is followed by 5m rock block, wedged in the midle of canyon.
