Geocache Description:


During the 2015 Christchurch Mega Event a very special CITO was held - GC63XG4 Green Thumbs Up. 145 Mega attendees decended on Woodend beach and helped plant and water a Biota node with native plants supplied by the Tuhaitara Conservation Trust. The event was arguably one of the most well received and rewarding events ever! The Tuhaitara Trust ranger (Greg) was so impressed that he was going to dedicate (with signage) the node to 'Canterbury Geocaching'.

This is it! Enjoy, just like the environment 'be gentle'.
