Geocache Description:

キャッシュは初立ダムにあります。

初立ダムは渥美半島先端部にある豊川用水の最終調整池です。
渥美半島先端の田畑に農業用水を供給しています。
ダムの下流斜面に国指定史跡伊良湖東大寺瓦窯跡があります。
鎌倉時代の東大寺再建の時に瓦をここで焼いた穴窯が3基埋没保存されています。



Cache is located in the Hatsu-ritsu dam.

Hatsutachi dam is the final adjustment pond Toyokawayosui in the Atsumi Peninsula tip. Dam lake is supplying agricultural water to the fields of tip Atsumi Peninsula. There is Irago Todaiji tile kilns of nationally designated historic site on downstream slope of the dam.
