When you go to look for this cache, would you look to see if you can find a Black Plastic belt clip for my iPhone Otter Box. I think it fell out of the car in the parking area.
This is a small bison tube hidden near the start of the Canton Creek Falls trail. The road into the cache is narrow, but there is a good parking area and place to turnaround at the cache site.
During the summer of 1965, after graduating from high school, I worked on a survey crew for the Forest Service to earn money for college. During that summer, this was one of the roads we surveyed. I had not been back since that time. There used to be a small shelter about where the cutting unit ends and the old original trail begins.
The cache is about 1/4 mile off the main road. The road to the cache and to the start of the Canton Creek Falls Trail is small and is becoming overgrown with trees. It is drivable, but I would not take a fancy brand new car on this road.
I am giving this a difficulty rating of 4 because it is a Micro hidden in the woods. The hint should help find the cache. There is no cell phone coverage here, so if you are using a smart phone, make sure you save the cache information to your phone before you hunt for this one.
