Geocache Description:

This Geocache is near the last (or first) lock on the Newry to Portadown Canal.
The closeby bridge crosses the River Cusher. Originally this river crossed the canal about 2 miles upstream. This caused major flooding problems so the river was re-routed into the present man-made channel. If you look you'll see the large stone facing on the banks.
