Geocache Description:

This is our second cache collection between the East Yorkshire villages of Skidby and Walkington and it is a tribute from the Young Team-Chocolate members to the wider music of their parents. The overall circuit is about a seven mile figure of eight, which adds to the original 14 caches from the Queen series. There is a village shop in each village to stock up on refreshments and a café at Risby / Folly lakes.

The caches in this series are named after various artists who have been seen by, or influenced the older Team-Chocolate members in their youth, at University or in their young and care-free days.

Another flatmate of Mr TC favoured heavy metal, and AC/DC. As such it was amazing any work got done in the flat during our term time. AC/DC are an Australian hard rock band, formed in November 1973 were considered pioneers of heavy metal though they have always dubbed their music as simply "rock and roll"

When Bon Scott died in 1980, our flatmate disappeared into a sorrow filled state blasting out their music for hours on end, by the end of term we all knew the words to “Whole lot of Rosie” and “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.”

Interestingly our teenage sons, have in their own time, come to like the music of AC/DC.

Feel free to include your story about the artist in your log.

Congratulations to S and J on the first to find!
