Geocache Description:

This is our second cache collection between the East Yorkshire villages of Skidby and Walkington and it is a tribute from the Young Team-Chocolate members to the wider music of their parents. The overall circuit is about a seven mile figure of eight, which adds to the original 14 caches from the Queen series. There is a village shop in each village to stock up on refreshments and a café at Risby / Folly lakes.

The caches in this series are named after various artists who have been seen by, or influenced the older Team-Chocolate members in their youth, at University or in their young and care-free days.

Simple Minds are a Scottish rock band formed in 1977. They achieved commercial success in the early 1980s. The core of the band is the two remaining founding members – Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill

We saw Simple Minds on their "Once Upon A Time Tour" at the SECC Glasgow in 1986. Their main hit from this period being “Sanctify Yourself” and "Belfast Child".

Feel free to include your story about the artist in your log.

Congratulations to SJW on the first to find!
