This is part of a series of caches around great Wellington hill climbs. You need to gather clues from each cache in the series in order to solve a final puzzle series, so make sure you take note of every piece of information you are asked to collect. You will need it for the final series.
At the published co-ordinates is an information board. This gives you the information to get to the final. I have also published an alternate starting point. The published co-ordinates will take you up a steep climb, but it is a slightly shorter route. The alternate starting point is longer, but a more enjoyable walk. It all depends on how you want to approach this one.
At the published co-ordinates is an information board. The final co-ordinates for the cache are:
S 41 16.alpha
E174 57.zulu
where alpha = the published South co-ordinates + the number mentioned in the "X mile loop"
and zulu = the published East co-ordinates + the difference between the highest and lowest elevations on the map + 14
Checksum for sum of the digits of alpha + zulu = 22
the cache is a camo'd screw top container, with a log only. Please bring your own pen.
