Geocache Description:

Church Micro 8684... Kentisbeare

My latest addition to the ever expanding Church Micro Series, this cache is slightly different to previous CM's I've placed.. It is set at the beautiful church of St Mary's in my lovely home village of Kentisbeare. It isn't part of the 22-strong cache loop around the village, but can be easily integrated with it.



TO FIND THE FINAL CACHE


There is no cache nor parts of a cache at the headline coordinates (except the church building!).
The five pictures below are all taken within the main churchyard. You need to locate them (printing them out would probably be useful) and calculate the coordinates for the final cache by reading the captions below the pictures and then doing some algebra...
They can be done in ANY ORDER.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO INSIDE THE CHURCH BUILDING TO FIND THE PICTURES
The final cache is not in the church grounds, but is located a short walk away.

CHURCH INFORMATION


St Mary's is one of the most beautiful Parish Churches in Devon. First Consecrated in 1259 it is Grade 1* listed. The chequer board stonework in the tower is unique in Devon and the 15th century Rood Screen is thought by many writers to be the finest in Devon. Untouched by the restorer's hand, the paintwork and gold leaf are now 600 years old. There is a peel of 6 bells in the tower which are rung regularly before services and at weddings and funerals. Their sound and quality of ringing attract may visiting teams of ringers.
