Geocache Description:

Browns Island is a small island in Hauraki Gulf.The island is not served by ferries, so private boats, kayaks and water-taxis are the only means of access. You are looking for a shaft made of natural material, hidden in plain sight. Extract the plunger to access the log sheet.

A beautiful island that the Water Taxi Crew fully explored. The hearty crew also decided that whilst we were finding caches, we would also place some as well, to encourage more visitors out to this location. Lovely view back towards Musick Pt and the Hauraki Gulf from here.

Special thanks goes to the following cachers for helping with this placement;

FMZ; Organiser and Tool Guy (Just don't ask him for a pen!)

Gorby; Master Craftsman.

Vistra; Scavenger Extraordinaire

Schliescke; For avoiding a time-out

mikemiss; Undefeated Champion of holding onto a boat

Alpenmilch80; For teaching us about the colour indigo

Avoyager; For excellent photo journalism

Team Welsh; For always finding us again after wandering ahead

harisree; For relentless enthusiasm (and having paper!)

yorkshirekiwi83; For facing and dealing with a Sophie's Choice

And to the whole the Water Taxi Crew for an awesome days out!
