It's that time of year where everyone who can, bakes something to share with family & friends. Bring something you baked, had baked, or bought, to share with your geocaching family.
We will meet at the Fairfield Township administration meeting room at the given coordinates at 2 p.m. on 12-13-15, and stick around until everyone has as many goodies to take home as they can carry. It may be chilly, but we will be warm. Plan on being there for an hour or more. The event lasts until 4 p.m.
Keep your eye here to see how many may be planning to attend, so you know how much to bring. I will try to keep a running tally below. You may not want to share with everybody. If you do share with someone, share one serving per trade per person. If you share with everybody, you'll need a LOT to share.
The suggested number of cookies per "serving" is 6. If cookies aren't your best baking feature, bring whatever it is you wish to share. If it is something other than cookies, keep in mind what an equivalent serving may be that is equal to 6 cookies, and how best to share it.
For example, if there are 50 people coming, and you want to trade with everyone, you'll need to bring 25 dozen cookies, or the equivalent. I don't know about you, but I won't eat 25 dozen cookies between now and NEXT Christmas. So I'll plan on bringing enough cookies/goodies to trade so what I bring home is enough for my use.
Place whatever you are sharing in individual serving baggies. This makes trading easier and makes clean-up minimal.
Bring containers for what you receive so you can carry it home. Again, keep an eye here to see what others may be bringing so you know what kind and how many containers you may need. I will try to keep a good tally and update the page as "notes" are added with who may be attending and what they may bring.
Celebrate the season with your best effort, and that of your friends.

As in the past, the cache owner will take full responsibility for any leftover cookies, fudge or other goodies. Just sayin'. Leftovers will be taken to One Way Farm, a shelter for children, so they can have something to enjoy during the Christmas season.
