Blackwall Road (Silent hill) Traditional Cache

Welcome to Silent hill……….

This was the name my teenage son’s friends called Blackwall Rd when driving home after dark…….

This road has a section where there are no street lights, houses or people……just Zombies (I’m kidding, Silent hill reference).

As you travel down this road on a dark foggy night you will see its sinister inhabitants watching you closely. Wallabies, possums and bush turkeys abound.

Take a cross bow, holy water and dress like Indiana Jones or Lara Croft. Grab your favourite sword and head out in the dark (daylight is nice too!).

The western side of Blackwall is Water Board land leading down to the Brisbane River and is not to be accessed, the eastern side is private land owned by a mining company and has large excavations unsigned or fenced also no entry.

The cache should be an easy drive by with parking very close, no need to jump the fence. Wear a tin foil hat as there are huge power lines overhead which messes with GPS’s.

Be warned….. the local residences are wary…… not because of zombies but because of illegal dumping. This was is a beautiful area so practice CITO if possible.
