When I was a child in school my friends and I watched an educational program called "Wordsmith". It had a fascinating way (at least for the 70's!) to teach what each part of a word meant (i.e. biography: bio=life graphy=writing). If the word didn't have clear etymological roots, this machine shot out a card that said, "BRFLGNK!" (pronounced BER- full- gunk). As an educator, I've always wanted to find reruns of that old program that influenced my love of languages. I've never found the show again...if you ever run across it, please let me know.
Hopefully this puzzle isn't BRFLGNK to you!
