The cache is located in Carpenter Park, one of many parks located in the Village of Bergen. Recently renovated, Carpenter Park has a long history. The fountain in the park is reminiscent of the early 1900's when the park held a statue of a little boy holding an umbrella over his head. Originally named Burrows Park, the park was enlarged and renamed Carpenter Park in 1910 with the donation of land from the Carpenter Family. The park's location makes it a perfect place to relax and watch the trains go by.
The cache you are seeking in a micro. There is no reason to climb the fountain or go past the wrought iron fence towards the tracks.. The cache is within reach of smaller children.
