With the Minnesota State Capitol at one end, the Cathedral of St. Paul at the other end, and the Minnesota History Center in the middle, this street is surrounded by dramatic buildings. Add several memorials on the Capitol grounds, St. Paul College, the Transportation Building, the finish line of the Twin Cities Marathon and Crashed Ice racing at the Cathedral and you have one heavily visited area.
