Ticks, chiggers, thorns and poison ivy may be seasonal problems. In my opinion, I would prefer to cache this conservation area in late fall, winter and early spring.
You will find a large ammo can. Inside is the usual selection of trade items. In addition, you will find the letterboxing log book - a nice hard bound booklet. If you enjoy letter boxing, you can use your own stamp on a page in that log book. In the cache, there is box in which you will find a stamp pad and a themed (as per the title) rubber stamp that you can use to stamp your own letterboxing book that you brought with you. Letterboxing is more fun if you have your own stamp and your own book.
Since this is a conservation area, please use due caution during hunting seasons. In fact, if it is opening day just don't even try and at other times, use common sense. The area is closed from 10 pm to 4 am every day, so daylight caching is probably best.
