GRHardy3 and I were up in the area of Vancouver Island's Matterhorn and Blueberry Flats collecting some smilies on this fine November day. The silence was broken every once in a while by the sound of gun fire in the distance (hunting season) and we saw several hunters along the way in their camo'd outfits and rifles hung over their shoulders or strapped to their quads.
Along the way we reflected on what it must have been like to have gone to war and how fortunate that we were not to have experienced a World war in our lifetimes (so far), but still enjoy the rights and freedoms that those brave souls had fought for. This cache is dedicated to all those who have gone before us to fight on our behalf and keep this country strong and free. Thank you veterans.
You'll see a small exposed rock face just off the logging road. The cache is a small pill bottle tucked in a crevice and covered by a rock.
