Geocache Description:

Castle Rock Cache in Old Bisbee

Bring your own pen or pencil

Bring your own pen or pencil.

The cache is in a small film canister. Please hide it well again in the rocks. The cache is not on or near Castle Rock but directly across the road. There is a "Private Property" sign near the cache. This was put there to discourage teenagers from drinking and being loud up there at night. The cache is NOT on private property. The private property begins behind the cache.

This cache will bring you to some fantastic locations in Old Bisbee. You will end up right next to Castle Rock where you can climb 15 feet to the top of or just walk to the front for some epic views.

There are three ways to get to this cache. For all of these, you should park your car on Main Street in Tombstone Canyon and walk. .

1.) Put the address "17 Maxfield Ave" in your phone's GPS and follow the maze of roads to near the cache. (This is drivable but not recommended)

2.) Head up the stairs that start out at 79 1/2 Main Street.

3.) Head up the stairs behind 59 Subway St and zig-zag your way to the cache.

I suggest going up one way and down another. #3 is the most challenging but super cool. #1 is best for the return. #2 is my favorite and an amazing walk up.
