SHENANGO ADVENTURE TRAIL is four miles of bushwhacking along a seldom used section of the upper Shenango Trail. There are 21 unique caches of various sizes and difficulty along the trail. Many are custom containers with creative camo. Enjoy the challenge of the Shenango Adventure Trail.
S3 ROSES At this point, you have now wandered into the center of rose bush territory. In the growing season, they send out runners that crisscross the trail; high, low, and in the middle. Fortunately, the cache is not far off the trail.
be prepared.... wearing long pants and long sleeved shirt helps protect you from rose thorn scratches, waterproof boots will get you across marshy stretches of trail, and bug spray is needed to keep the ticks away.
a note of caution..... be aware of hunting seasons and wear orange when on the trail during that time or go on Sunday when it is not an issue. Enjoy your trek along the Shenango Trail.
