Geocache Description:

This is a steep trail up 100 m which has recently been remodelled by the local trails group. There is a memorial bench overlooking the city and valley. This is the first leg of the entire Observation Mtn. Trail. You will probably need to rest on the bench when you get there. This is an easy find and child friendly. Bring swag to trade.

The Spirit Bench is dedicated to Peter Perepelkin - 'A Builder of Community Spirit' and promoter of trails. The Observation Mtn trail will continue to be improved with more benches and signage.
