Geocache Description:


Get a hand from a Aussie Cacher

The idea is to work with someone in Australia in order to find the cache. Sounds too hard you say? Well, actually it is easier than you may think.

This fun three-part multi-cache will find you teaming up with a cacher you have probably never met, and may never meet!

All you have to do is some simple maths to get the Australian co-ordinates.

Stage 1: At the published co-ordinates, find a yellow sign which contains information that is used to create stage 2 co-ordinates in Australia:

A = 1st digit x 7

B = 2nd digit + 5

C = 3rd digit + 3

D = 4th digit + 1

E = 5th digit + 6

F = 6th digit + 5

South 34° 23 . A B C ... East 150° 50 . D E F

Stage 2: A quick plane ride will take you to the next waypoint. However, if you wish, you can search out a cacher in the general area of the coordinates and request some help. They will need to visit the cache to retrieve stage 3 co-ordinates.
