Cache is winter friendly. About 60 feet off the dirt trail when I placed the cache ground was dry but could see in the spring or after heavy rain might be a little muddy. This is a hard one might take a few visits to find. Lots of places to hide a small cache....Heavy tree cover to G.P.S might jump around.
